PlayStation 3 Slim 120GB or Xbox 360 S 250GB?

PLEASE READ:



I want to buy one of these great consoles, but i just do not know which one. As far as the hard drive i really do not care if the PS3 has less memory while the Xbox 360 S has more at the same price because all i need is really 60GB, but since these are my only two options this is what i have to do. I want the PlayStation 3 Slim 120GB and the Xbox 360 S 250GB but i just could not decide which one is better. The PlayStation 3 has PlayStation Move, while the Xbox 360 S has Kinect. Here are some games that i like for each console and please help me decide on some more games for each console.

So, as you can see i love so much games on each system. But, if i say that i want the Xbox 360 then i am going to come back to PS3 and say that there is no Little Big Planet on the Xbox 360 or Gran Turismo 5, or Uncharted 2. And if i go with the PS3 i am going to say that there is no Fable on the PS3, or Halo, or Forza. As far as Xbox Live it is an amazing online service, and for the PS3 PlayStation Network is also good, but has less connection. I heard that the Xbox 360 S 250GB got rid of the Red Ring of Death that the old consoles had, and got the Red Dot, which i assume is almost the same thing but a different name. So, if i buy the Xbox 360 and keep it for 1 year and 6 months and then the Red Dot happens and i couldn't fix it, i have to send it to Xbox let them fix it for almost the same price of a new system, when i don't want to pay that much. Also, then what happens to all of my games that i got because i would not want to buy another console for $300.00. Also, the Xbox 360 S 250GB only has a 1 year warranty while the Elite has three years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!! HELP



P.S: Please explain your answer and do not just type in what you think so do not just say "Xbox 360 or PS3" EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK I SHOULD GET THE CONSOLE!!!

first of all, though there are many games for the ps3 worth buying, xbox has the majority. don't forget oblivion, one of the greatest RPG's of all time. Also, you are correct, xbox live is the best online game service out there. the games are more expensive for PS3, and the xbox controllers and gameplay serve better. because xbox is run by microsoft, the best games are released for the xbox at top priority as well. also, the xbox is continuing to run the best software and updates, while the PS3 is at a minor standstill.

first of all you need to figure out what exclusive games you like more. Do you have a hdtv I have a 360 and a blu ray player so there is no point for me to get a ps3. if you dont have a blu ray player and you have a hdtv i would say get a ps3 they hardly ever fail. the new slim 360 has got rid of the red ring and aparently wont fail anymore my friend has a new slim and moves alot of air so i do think they fixed the cpu/gpu fails of them getting to hot because they moved the gpu/cpu together now under one heatsink and the fan is right on top of the heatsink. so it really comes down to this

Do you want to pay for internet support $50 xbox a year get friends list avatars netflix and much more or ps3 is free (for right now they said somthing at e3 about make you pay $50 a year for some preimuim thing) but it hard to pay game with friends



as far as when the next gen platform comes out well no one knows that untill they say theres a new one but if the past says anything about video game platforms is that about every 5 years a new system comes out but with both of the system being to support 1080p theres really no where to take there next systems but new OS or something and xbox has already changed there OS once over the internet as a update so i dont know if the 5 year rule will aply to these two systems but no one know forsure

i wood recommend getting the xbox 360S 250GB console because either way u look at it both consoles have the same games except 4 a certain few. I think the selling point should be because of xbox live sure u have 2 pay 4 it but its definately worth it (better connections, better players more exclusive DLC like the grand theft auto dlc) it also has incredible games like the Halo series, the Mass Effect series, Fable, Forza, the list can go on



also they said that the new xbox will come out in like 6 years

The internet is free for the PS3, but you have to pay every month for internet for the Xbox which sucks. You can download games, demos, and other cool stuff on the PS3 and all the demos are free.
