Which is a better simulator, because both sides claim how amazing their game is!
So this is the categories I want your opinions of (even though the games aren't released yet, then make a guess)
Physics: How the car behaves on the road
Graphics: Which has the most detailed cars, with graphics closest to realism
Manufacturers: Which has more car manufacturers
Cars: Which has more cars
Aerodynamics: Which has aerodynamics as part of the gameplay (such as drafting behind a car)
Tire physics: Which has the most realistic tire feature (such as tire deformation, etc)
Customization: Which has more body customization, such as adding parts or painting the car
Tuning: Which offers a more REALISTIC tuning feature
Gameplay length: Which is longer to finish the game
Online: Which has better online capabilities
Gameplay Features: Rollover, car numbers per race, types of car competitions (such as drag and nascar), weather features, getting cars dirty, anything extra
Damage: Which offers more realistic damage modeling, and which is more realistic in terms of how it affects your car's performance
So, which is the Simulator King (excluding pc games)Forza Motorsport 3 vs Gran Turismo 5?
I like your question, being a GT fan, but this is a pointless comparison to do. What the hell is a guess gonna prove? We know very little about GT5 and that alone makes a Forza/GT comparison pointless to do since it isn't fair for either side. We don't even know how many racing series GT will have or what the damage modeling will be like or even the quality of the online play. There are more details available for Forza 3 and it wouldn't be fair to GT, not to mention it doesn't really show what's better.
Ask this question in September 2010, where both games will be available and everyone can get some real hands-on experience on both.
