What is Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection? Is it a new forza game or is it an add on?

I'll cut straight to the point, it's exactly the same as Forza 3 but includes all previous DLC, (cars+tracks) without needing to download anything, although for some WEIRD reason you get a DLC pack exclusively with the game to download 3 more cars from xbox Live (a Lexus,Mercedes-Benz and a Koenigsegg CCX) Pretty stupid as i don't know why they can't just be included on the disc too, isn't this the whole point of the ultimate edition? What i am wondering is if my save game from original Forza 3 will be compatible with Ultimate Edition (cars,money etc). Also i'd think the collectors edition + pre order exclusive cars would be included too (i hope so, i want ALL cars =D), but yeah i don't have access to Xbox Live so this is great for me, funnily enough i bought Forza 3 about a week ago and this just happens to come out, i'll probably buy this now. The pack was a promotion from Top Gear, i think you get a 90 minute Top Gear interview/episode with the game or on the disc (the DLC pack is called Stig's Garage). Heaps people are angry because they bought all the DLC and now the ultimate edition offers the 3 stig cars + 5-7 new cars with the edition itself (i forgot to mention), so if they want all the cars they have no choice but to buy the ultimate edition. I think it is around $30 (not bad) and is first available at around 26-30th October 2010.
