In Forza Motorsport 3 how come other players cars are faster than mine (multiplayer)?

I just wondered if anyone can tell me why in Forza 3 when I play a multiplayer game everyone elses car seems to be quicker than mine. I have only tried F class so far as i am new to the game but from what I can see all the cars a F200 yet they all semm to go quicker than me in strait lines etc



Any ideas that can help a noob get on a even playing field?In Forza Motorsport 3 how come other players cars are faster than mine (multiplayer)?
I'm a decent driver but I can't drive F thru D class cars very fast, I'm better at faster cars.



One reason why they might be faster than you is because they have a better tuned car, and ones that are also actually faster than other cars at F200, even though cars are supposed to be evenly fast if they're the same class, so some cars will go several tenths, or even seconds, faster than a car at the exact same class.



robert h's answer is also true, you should practice a lot, and you should do so on single player against AI, that way you don't get in the way of people playing online. You can select a lower difficulty in order to progress with cars at the same speed as you as well.



As to why other people's cars are faster in a strait line, they probably have their cars tuned to have more power than grip, so they go faster on the straits, but a little bit slower in the turns. They make up for being slow in the turns by being really good drivers, which just takes practice. try tuning ur transmission it worked for me with a Toyota trueno and Audi quattro . if ur using F thru D try a Renault clio they are fast in corners and they have good speed on the straights , its also very light .

i feel your pain



its all about learning the circuits

if you are using the braking line

you will never match a good player

as the braking points arent good in certain points



i guess what im saying is

same as that 銈ㄣ儍銈偠銉冦偗 guy but just in case u don't know how to put tuned cars online i could tell u. first at your main menu you need to go to upgrades and make your car better. then after that you go to tune car. now you don't need to actually tune your car hear if you don't want. just click the tune Button then hit save tune by pressing the start Button. then go to online race. while in lobby go to load tune setups. then find the car you tuned click it and load the tune. then you have your car tuned. also if you do this with a design on your car you can save the design with the tune and race your design online
