Forza Motorsport 3 not working in my XBOX 360?

So today I rented Forza Motorsport 3 from the library and It keeps getting the open tray error then you have to reboot the xbox to get it out when it reboots sometimes it gets the one red ring of death (E65). is there a way to fix this problem or am I out of luck.
