Need for Speed: Shift or Forza Motorsport 3?

Now that both games are out and under $30, i need some help deciding which to get. I played both demos on Xbox and i'm leaning more towards NFS:Shift because of the better graphics, better sound, better menus and WAY more exhilarating gameplay (in my opinion). Forza was fun but it seemed too realistic and frustrating for me BUT i've heard great things so i figure there's gotta be something i'm missing.

What about tracks? Since i only played the demos i don't know anything about the tracks. For both games: are they fun and varied (city, mountain, seaside, forest) or are they just boring generic race tracks?

Cars? I'm not a car buff, i'm not into customizing every little detail, it just doesn't interest me. As long as they look cool and drive well, that's all that matters to me.
