I tested my Xbox Live connection due to i can't connect to pretty much anyone on Forza Motorsport 3 (FM3) on XBL. And it f*cking bothers me alot.What do these Xbox360 Error Status Report codes mean?

Should I buy the Xbox 360 Elite or Playstation 3?

Well, I am afraid that if i buy the Xbox 360 than it would get old in two years. But, PS3 will not get old in two years or maybe not even ten years. 1) The PS3 has more shooters (Uncharted 1/2, Killzone 2, Warhawk, MAG, SOCOM, Resistance 1/2, Metal Gear Solid 4, etc). Xbox 360 has Gears of War 1/2, Halo 3/ODST/Reach, Left 4 Dead 1/2, etc).

3) The PSP %26amp; PS3 are NOT the same thing. There are different games and features. You can also use the PS3 to stream media and PS1 games to your PSP via Wi-Fi. Either way you can't go wrong with the DS or PSP. Also of note is that some games offer special connectivity between the PSP %26amp; PS3 (Assassin's Creed II and Assassins' Creed: Bloodlines for instance).

4) Of all the games you listed for the Xbox 360 only one is exclusive to the console (Forza 3). By comparison three of the PS3 games in your list are exclusive (Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, Ratchet %26amp; Clank).

If you want a good games machine, get a 360.

Elite comes with 120GB HDD

Super Elite comes with 250GB HDD.

If you want a console which can play games, surf the web, watch blu-ray movies, play online for free and have near-silent operation, get a PS3.

i would go with X box
If you want to play online for free then choose PS3 or else choose Xbox.
Simply put, XBOX is popular for their shooting games (the fanbase of the shooting games is what's keeping them alive) while PS3 offers more variety and a breath of fresh air from a genre of gore and violence.

You are definetly going to want to go with the PS3, it is very fun. But you might want to update your list. Here is what you should be going for when getting a PS3:

So, I obviously have more Playstation 3 Games that I like, but it is not about having a lot of games. It is about the Games that you like. If I buy an Xbox 360, than I am going to buy a PSP 3000 because having a PSP 3000 would be different. Anyway, or I can just wait until Xbox or Sony comes out with a new console because I currently have a Nintendo Wii. If I wait for a new console to come out than I will be getting a PSP 3000 or a PSP GO, and an iPod Touch or Nintendo DSi. HELP!!! I want to buy something new and improved. Well PS3 is currently the most advanced system for gaming and it was built to last for 10 years in the gaming industry and I hate to break it to you, the next generation of consoles will not be coming out for the next few years. Also even if Microsoft creates another system and pops i tout now it won't do any any good in the industry and I highly doubt it would compare to the PS3 still. PS3 is built so that you only have to download updates on it, that are free by the way and you dont have to spend more money upgrading it to make it better like the Xbox 360.

You already have more games listed that you would enjoy playing on PS3, and to let you in on something, Sony is developing a motion wand and new games compatible with the motion wand for PS3.

Your best bet would be to get a PS3. Trust me I'm a proud owner and I've played the other systems and like my Sony products the best

You should buy a PS3, and hook it up to online. I recommend renting Uncharted: Drake's Fortune before you buy Uncharted 2, for the story will make a lot more sense.

I think that you should get a PS3. Not just because there is more games you like from it, but personally, I think it is an overall better system.
Get the 360, much better device, and they are going to upgrade it immensely to make it even better.

I would say get a Playstation 3. Most of the Xbox exclusives are great, but they are shooters and you don't like those.

PS3, if you have a HDTV, also includes Blu-Ray which is awesome. You can get on the internet. Watch movies from PSN. Etc.

It's the best piece of gaming hardware out there right now.

You should stick with the PS3 because of the free online and the Blu-Ray. Its so much better than the Xbox because you can do more with it. Plus you will never get the red ring of death.

Personally if its a 4gb harddrive i would pull it off sell it and spend an extra $20 bucks and get a new 20gb harddrive this saves using USB ports for other devices(Turtlebeaches, Chargers) and 20gb should last you a long time. i got the 4 gig and its fine it has plenty of space and if u do need more just use a flashdrive and u will be fine

It bans your xbox 360 console. It bans that because it wants you to spend more money on a brand new console.
For glitches and exploits most likely they suspend your xbl account. alot of people call it banning but banning means permanent. If you are caught by Microsoft doing a glitch they may suspend your account for a certain number of days but its rare as Microsoft focuses on firmware updates and file complaints. A xbox 360 console BAN is different. if you play with a modified console with a modchip or flashing your DVD drive and play on xbl there is a chance you will be console banned. So if you are playing with a pirated game, Microsoft wont be happy. I am not sure on glitches, but I am pretty sure they can do either.

It depends on how intense the glitches are.

If there are way too many people glitching, most likely they just patch.

Or just ban accounts.

On other hand if there are not too many, you have a risk.

Also if a moderator or someone similar catches you, then most likely both will occur.

Well, I have had my Nintendo Wii for a long time and it seems like I am getting tired of it. I like the Playstation 3 because my friends and cousins have it. But on the other hand, you have the Xbox 360 which is a very good game system. Pricing is no big deal because they both cost the same. I like playing online on both, but it seems that Xbox 360's online is just two better and has over 900,000 people on there. I do not really care about Blue-Ray but it is always good to have one around. Well, I do not like shooting games so please do not mention Halo on the Xbox 360 or any other shooting game on both Consoles. I am afraid that if I buy the Xbox 360 Elite, I might get the Red Ring of Death. Does the Red Ring of Death still happen to new Xbox 360's? Does the Red Ring of Death happen if I play the Xbox 360 for 3 hours straight. Anyway, here are some games that I like on each Console.

It ALL depends on what features are going to use most! So if you like online gaming than XBOX Live is the way to go, while PS3 is a better system than 360 and has better quality games, and you can play Blu-ray movies on PS3, but if you are signed up for Netflix you can use the Watch Instantly feature on Xbox Live, also Microsoft is just way ahead of the game than Sony, so there is a lot more titles to choose from with a 360! Also(BTW), Nintendo Wii is best for Sport/Family/Classic(Mario) games! MARIO RACERS!
PS3! THEY HAVE BETTER GRAPHICS, PLAY BLU-RAY, AND YOU GO ONLINE FOR FREE!!

Why is because people you know have it. Since you like forza so much and uncharted go with Ps3 because Gran Turismo 5 will be a substitute for forza.

get th ps3 slim! they are amazing i bought one the other day and it had been GREAT. i would recoment modern warfare 2. i play it all the time. ps3 has free online also and with xbox you have to pay witch can be a real pain. it also has where you can store photos and stuuf. the ps3 is also a blue ray play and those an get SUPER expensive. you should go look up some reviews rom bestbuy or somthing they ould help you out. if you plan on haveing little kids play i guess get an xbox but if you want something nice for "older" kids then get a ps3 they are much nice and just look cooler :) actually playing mine right now!

How to Copy and Burn an XBOX 360 game with standard dvd drive?

I bought Forza Motorsport 3 when it was released. Xbox got knocked over with it in and now has perfect circle scratch. Paste, wax etc... hasn't worked. I read that copying and burning will though. I keep reading all these programs need a certain dvd drive to burn it or the xbox needs modded....

I don't know about trade-ins but selling them for cash at a Gamestop would fetch you about $100 for everything. Now Gamestop employees can be very shrewd and try to cheat you out of your money (I tried selling my PS2 games and offered me $20 for 15 games) Different Gamestop employees and stores have different prices for games.Try Play n Trade, not that well known, but a tad bit more open to offers. don't listen to the guy above me he's doesn't have a clue of what he's talking about. it depends to who you sell it, if you sell it at game-stop you won't even get 200 believe me i was trying to sell my xbox with 250 GB turtle beach x31, 3 wireless controllers and a lot more games than that an they were offering 160 for everything but if you sell it to a friend you can get maybe 300-350. A. you don't need the original case to make the trade and it does not affect how much store credit they give you or not.

B. If you are looking for a straight up trade you will not get it, however some gamestops *perhaps yours* offers extra credit if you trade in a set amount of games toward a popular game i.e. halo reach you will probably be like twenty dollars short *give or take*

C. Most gamestops will not take the *not for resell value games* so if those have that label on it than more than likely you won't be able to.

Should I buy the Xbox 360 Elite or the Playstation 3 Slim?

Well, I like both of the consoles, but one thing that worries me is the Red Ring of Death. Also, Playstation 3 has more games that I like, but the problem with the Playstation 3 is that I already bought the 80GB model four times and returned it those four times because one time we thought that it was messed up, and the other time we couldn't get the Internet, and then the other times I just did not play with it. HELP REQUESTED!!!Should I buy the Xbox 360 Elite or the Playstation 3 Slim?
Yeah i got the red ring of death(and it burns burns burns) once before and i had to get the system fixed now i dont use it as much as i use to because i don't want it breaking down on me.I would suggest go with the PS3 Slim one for now because i read that it cuts down on your Electric Bill.It uses even less juice than the old PS3 Models.I wish it would have been released a year ago when i bought mine lmao.Both systems are nice to have in the long run though because both systems have their own exculsive games like 360 has Dead Rising which i loved every min of it. PS3 has Metal Gear Solid 4 which i loved as well.It really all depends on what you like and want out of the system.So go with the PS3 Slim you won't regret it trust me.

I can understand your dilemma the problem with PS3 is that it needs refining, it has a lot of great games but the console itself is quite unstable. one hard knock and most PS3s shatter (like mine, less than one foot off the ground... in pieces...) but there are quite a few solid sport games for Xbox though not as many E-T rated adventure games. Xbox 360 is simply had more time to be developed...

NFS SHIFT doesn't have the rewind feature but Forza Motorsport 3 does. I would recommend you get forza for the simple fact that the game graphics looks better and the cars are more easy to drive than on NFS. So, as you can see i love so much games on each system. But, if i say that i want the Xbox 360 then i am going to come back to PS3 and say that there is no Little Big Planet on the Xbox 360 or Gran Turismo 5, or Uncharted 2. And if i go with the PS3 i am going to say that there is no Fable on the PS3, or Halo, or Forza. As far as Xbox Live it is an amazing online service, and for the PS3 PlayStation Network is also good, but has less connection. I heard that the Xbox 360 S 250GB got rid of the Red Ring of Death that the old consoles had, and got the Red Dot, which i assume is almost the same thing but a different name. So, if i buy the Xbox 360 and keep it for 1 year and 6 months and then the Red Dot happens and i couldn't fix it, i have to send it to Xbox let them fix it for almost the same price of a new system, when i don't want to pay that much. Also, then what happens to all of my games that i got because i would not want to buy another console for $300.00. Also, the Xbox 360 S 250GB only has a 1 year warranty while the Elite has three years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!! HELP

P.S: Please explain your answer and do not just type in what you think so do not just say "Xbox 360 or PS3" EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK I SHOULD GET THE CONSOLE!!!

first of all, though there are many games for the ps3 worth buying, xbox has the majority. don't forget oblivion, one of the greatest RPG's of all time. Also, you are correct, xbox live is the best online game service out there. the games are more expensive for PS3, and the xbox controllers and gameplay serve better. because xbox is run by microsoft, the best games are released for the xbox at top priority as well. also, the xbox is continuing to run the best software and updates, while the PS3 is at a minor standstill.

first of all you need to figure out what exclusive games you like more. Do you have a hdtv I have a 360 and a blu ray player so there is no point for me to get a ps3. if you dont have a blu ray player and you have a hdtv i would say get a ps3 they hardly ever fail. the new slim 360 has got rid of the red ring and aparently wont fail anymore my friend has a new slim and moves alot of air so i do think they fixed the cpu/gpu fails of them getting to hot because they moved the gpu/cpu together now under one heatsink and the fan is right on top of the heatsink. so it really comes down to this

i wood recommend getting the xbox 360S 250GB console because either way u look at it both consoles have the same games except 4 a certain few. The internet is free for the PS3, but you have to pay every month for internet for the Xbox which sucks. You can download games, demos, and other cool stuff on the PS3 and all the demos are free. So, as you can see i love so much games on each system. But, if i say that i want the Xbox 360 then i am going to come back to PS3 and say that there is no Little Big Planet on the Xbox 360 or Gran Turismo 5, or Uncharted 2. And if i go with the PS3 i am going to say that there is no Fable on the PS3, or Halo, or Forza. As far as Xbox Live it is an amazing online service, and for the PS3 PlayStation Network is also good, but has less connection. I heard that the Xbox 360 S 250GB got rid of the Red Ring of Death that the old consoles had, and got the Red Dot, which i assume is almost the same thing but a different name. So, if i buy the Xbox 360 and keep it for 1 year and 6 months and then the Red Dot happens and i couldn't fix it, i have to send it to Xbox let them fix it for almost the same price of a new system, when i don't want to pay that much. Also, then what happens to all of my games that i got because i would not want to buy another console for $300.00. Also, the Xbox 360 S 250GB only has a 1 year warranty while the Elite has three years. And for people who are fanboys of Blu-Ray Players i am not and i do not watch movies at all. So, i am looking for a console that has great games, exclusives and etc. I like Kinect more than PlayStation Move because i get to be the controller, but i really want the better console and not the better add-on. So, WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I AM CONFUSED????????????????

P.S: Please explain your answer and do not just type in what you think so do not just say "Xbox 360 or PS3" EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK I SHOULD GET THE CONSOLE!!!

Also, which console is going to last longer in the market. So, if the PlayStation 4 comes out in two years i am not going to get the PlayStation 3 right now, i will get the Xbox 360 instead. Batman was way too short. But if you're only looking to finish the main storyline you can finish it 2 days tops.

As for Fable 2, there's a lot of things to do in the game, not including the downloadable content. It all depends on what kind of player you are. If you're a completionist I would say that it would take about 1-2 weeks to finish everything.

Assasin's Creed II is fairly short as well. I finished it in 2 days. Bonus content, sidequests and all. So I wouldn't be too concerned with not having enough time to finish all your games.How long does it take to beat Batman: Arkham Asylum and Fable 2?

You'll want a HD ready TV, your xbox should have come with a HDMI cable. Size wise you want to be looking at 27" to 32" as you'll be sitting relatively close. Speakers you should be fine with as the TV will have ones biult in. If you're looking for a more sound based experience then buy speakers. The "BOSE Companion" series is a very good shot for speakers.

I dont think 250 gb memory is really necessary unless you plan on downloading a lot of things from the xbox live marketplace, or storing a lot of music and other such stuff. If you are using it strictly for game data storage though, 4 GB should be enough. To plug it in to an HDTV you could use an HDMI cable, or the composite video jacks that come with the xbox. Real simple here, go with the 250GB. I have several games that require over half a gig just for game data. If you are talking about playing car games such as Forza, you are going to need more space. You save all your game data + tuning set ups + paint jobs + pics + replays + ghosts not to mention all the downloaded cars or maps you get... you get the picture. Your not going to need 250GB just for those types of games though but you are going to need MUCH more than 4GB. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't played Forza on their own system and checked the memory.

i have the 250GB model and its awesome. I have like.. 20 arcade games and i've installed most of the games i play on a disc to my hard drive (they load/run much faster that way) and i have about 180GB free.

Another difference between the two that I should add is that the 250GB version is a glossy finish which can scratch easy and the 4GB is a matte finish that doesn't scratch or show fingerprints. You can also buy the 250gb later if you want but with Microsoft's pricing it will cost more.
Go with the 250GB model. If you don't you will wish you would've spent the extra money in the beggining. If you have Xbox live you will start downloading stuff and 4GB is just not enough.
get the 250g forza motorsport 3 you have to install disc 2 to play and it like 1.9g and its alot better to install all your game to your 360

How come game consoles use graphics cards longer than PCs?

The graphics on the 360 and PS3 are comparable to the latest PC games, yet they use graphics cards from 2005/2006. Why is this? And what's the point of a better graphics card if Forza Motorsport 3 looks just as good as a PC game with the latest graphics card?How come game consoles use graphics cards longer than PCs?
No, the graphics are comparable to medium/high end systems from 2006.

They are limited to resolutions of 1080p, which any recent graphics card can surpass by far. Without getting too technical with things like shader models, directx versions, fill rates, triangles-per-second and other nonsense that only matters to advertisers, let's just say that modern high-end graphics cards are way in advance of the PS3 and 360.

I have completed the game, without doing the endurance races, I hired a driver to do all of them...

Now I don't have enough money to buy all the cars to get the achievements : (

I'm only 3 Porsche's away from the German one, but that still leaves me with the Japanese and American cars to get a hold of.

I need help!

I have GT5 and love the GT series, but now it's basically complete and need a few races (endurance and im not doing them as it's a waste of my life!) and a million other cars, but it's a bit boring now and they don't add anything new!

I had an xbox before the ps3 and do miss it, the other titles only on xbox too including Fable, left 4 dead, halo, pgr etc!

I have 2 options!

1- Sell my dads ps3 downstairs (only uses it for blu ray dvds) and swap it with my one as it's better and keep my games ect, and get an used xbox with that money and some I have saved then get forza 4 when it comes out aswell as forza 3 in the meantime.

2- Keep my PS3 and then spend my money on some new games.

I love the playstation, but nowadays its the games that keep me interested, and would rather buy the console with the game I want! My friends have PS3's and Xbox's and would mean I sort of have both! Im stuck on what to do!

If you would have asked this before gt5 was out, i would have said gt5 all the way. But now that i own both gt5 and forza 3, i actually traded in my gt5 for a down payment on a pre order for forza4. GT5 was rushed and they went more for quantity over quality. It does have a few things that i miss, like night racing and rain. Gran Turismo 5 Awesome game, the graohics are excellent and the driving is extremely real. Only three minor complaints, the driving loghts of cars while night racing are not strong(real) enough, so it is pretty hard to see; I liked more the B-spec mode of Gran Turismo 4, and the "Standard Cars" are not customizable in terms of rims and other stuff, and in Gran Turismo 4 you could change that in any car. But anyways, tis game is big step up over the others and competition.

I would say assassins creed 2, or forza 3 they are both good t depends on what you like better.

Assassins creed is a single play game, no co-op. That means it has a pretty long storyline. (out of 1-10 i give it a 7) because it is a great story and a fun game, but it will get boring after a while and like i said no multiplayer.

Forza is by-far the best racing game. You can customize alot and have a blast playing on multyplayer. And if you do get bored of racing, you can go and customize your cars tracks and all that fun stuff. (out of 1-10, i will give it an 8.5-9) because i like the multyplayer it is really fun, and the single player races are also amazing, and you can customize pretty much everything, so thats another plus.

borderlands for sure that game is amazingly fun. however assassin's creed 2 is awesome too. as for forza 3 that is awesome as well.. Never ever trade in games. always sell them on ebay or in you're local buy and sell. Stores will give you 40% - 50% back of what you payed for. I dont think so, i have a forza as well and to get it to not have a lot of wheel spin from a stand still, i just adjusted the idle a bit and also adjusted the throttle trim on my controller that helped

There are auctions to sell cars, tuning set-ups, and paint jobs. You can compete online or just against the computer. Every single piece available for cars in the game comes with a detailed description which is quite helpful for those who need a little help understanding cars. Overall a fantastic game!

I think Forza 3 would be a good choice if you like driving sims. Other games I would recommend are Gears of War and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (if you like platformers). Borderlands definitely. Also, I have Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Don't get it. It was good when it came out, but now everyone camps, so its no fun. So I would also suggest something like Fable 2 as an RPG, and Bioshock 2 as a horror game. It all depends on your preferences though.

Should I get Fallout 3, or Fable 2?

So im trading a game for a different game. The game I am trading is Forza Motorsport 3, and Ive got a choice betweem Fallout 3, or Fable 2. Forza 3 is only worth about $40 in store...So, which is worth more, and which do you guys think is better? Convince me :)Should I get Fallout 3, or Fable 2?
See it depends on what time of game you are after. Both games in their own right are very decent games. I own both and have completed both a few times. If u want a game which is fun and light hearted id always go for fable 2 however there isnt much dlc for it. Fallout 3 is a more serious game and the world is huge. with at least 4 dlc areas aswell there is so much to explore and the amount of side quests on this game is scary. Graphics in both games are really good however fallout 3 can suffer from loading times due to the size. You could probably pick up the game of the year editon of fallout 3 which comes with all the dlc. Fable 2 goty edition is also good but u only get two new areas and they are rather small with limited questing. Both Games have a lasting appeal as both give you freedom to be as bad or good as you want. i personally love making my character on fable 2 look like the devil with horns and burning eyes just by slaughetring loads of people. i find it hard to pick between both games as both are awesome in their own right. if u could pick up both then you would be landed.

Fallout 3, or Fallout New Vegas. I'd reccomend Fable 3 over Fable 2, But Fallout over Fable.

Fallout is alot more expansive, exciting and intruiging. There are endless ways to complete the game where as with Fable its either good or evil. Fallout will really test your skills when on hard mode as well, Fable is alot easier and only one difficulty.

I have been playing forza 3 ive had it more than a year now since that was the game i got with my xbox...and i have restarted 3 times because i ran out of money. but now i have around 2,500,000 cr. and i am looking for some ways to make quick and easy money, and have some questions answered.

1. does the race transmission make the Veyron faster? if it does, how much faster?

2. i read on the forza motorsport forums that the first generation miata can hit 270......can anyone confirm this? and if possible give me some tuning tips for it?

3. i always see videos on youtube where people can pull a wheelie off the line in cars. could anybody help me with this?

4. how the hell does turn 10 expect you to come up with 11 million credits to buy a 330 p4 or 20 million for the 250 GTO?!?!? thats like a homeless man window shopping! and while im on the topic, can you even buy upgrades for those two cars?

just throwing it out there, i am not on xbox live, as much as i would like to be.....(sucks). i only know 0 people who have the games i do ( need for speed, forza 3 [obviously], gta4,etc etc) i look forward to all feedback (except the negative kind)10 Points! Forza 3 car advice?

I know that Forza 3 will be shipping on 2 discs because it is such a massive game, but one thing is bothering me. Since both the discs won't be able to be in the 360 at once (obviously), do you think there will be a feature to be able to install one of the two discs and have the other disc playing and contain all the features from the one that is installed?Forza Motorsport to ship on 2 discs!? Games that are divided onto separate discs save your information to the console, so you can carry over your profile/saves/whatever between the discs. This is how it works for many RPGs that come on 2 or even 4 discs. To answer your question directly, you will not be able to install one disc and play the other simultaneously. I love Forza Motorsport 3 and I can not resist not buying it. But, I don't like shooting games, I am mostly a fan of adventure, sports, and racing games.Should I buy the Xbox 360 Pro or the Playstation 3 Slim?
Ok well here are a couple of extra things that might make you want Playstation more.

-Really nice graphics for games

-Has a variety of playstation exclusives like Little Big Planet, Uncharted 2, and here is one you might like, Gran Turismo 5 which is coming out this spring (if they don't delay it again) and it is an amazing racing game

Well let me put it this way, Playstation 3 out does the 360 in raw specs and power as well as offering a wider variety of games it would seem, because the Microsoft people aim at adults with the XBOX 360 and seem to think that adults just want to play shooters. Playstation 3 tries to catch all audiences so you will see a lot of well made games in several genres.
Lol no let ME put it this way... 360 beats ps3 in graphic processing power! Lol but please dont take my advice...
